When The Danube Rises: Budapest In Water
In Sept 2024, the Danube River overflowed, submerging large portions of Budapest’s lower embankments. These photographs document the surreal transformation of the city’s iconic riverfront: STOP signs nearly submerged, Parliament’s steps lapped by rising waters, and tourists and locals gathering at the very edge of safety. Through this visual essay, I seek to capture the intersection of urban infrastructure, human presence, and the force of nature. The flooding is not merely a disruption — it is a quiet warning about resilience, planning, and the unpredictable rhythm of climate.

The Arany János utca Transformation 2022-2023
Chronicles the comprehensive renovation of Budapest's District V's Arany János utca. Nestled within this street is our family tea shop, which provided me the unique opportunity to document the meticulous process. Daily snapshots encompass every phase from excavation to bricklaying and tree planting, culminating in a year-long photographic odyssey of transformation.

Morning at Matthias Church
This image, titled "Morning at Matthias Church," captures a serene morning scene at Budapest's iconic Matthias Church. The photograph is part of a low-budget advertising shoot, showcasing a sleek car against the historic backdrop. The client desired the car to be featured at a famous Hungarian landmark but without a budget for clearing the area or extensive lighting setups. We opted for an early morning shoot to achieve the desired effect.
